Being broken!!! You all keep saying whow fab sid would look as a ridden stallion, but th truth is he can't stand anything on his back or tight around his belly!! We have gradually been getting him used to an elastic roller, and we have managed to get him to lunge with it on tight and with a numnah! Today i thought he was ready to go another step ahead so we tried a saddle, i found our smallest lightest one (which ended up being a 12'' that we had for the shetland, funny thing is lookig at this one on him, he wouldn't actually need anything bigger tan a 14", which is mad for a 13.2H i know!!) Anyway, heres how we got on: tomorrow i'm going to add stirrups for that extra bit of weight!! ALSO, could you please tell me if you think he's conditioned up since the last lo of pics i put on!!!! Xx

LOL.. this brings back memory's of a horse I rode years ago he was about nine and he was so funny about having his girth done up! if you tightened it up to quick, he would go over backwards it all had to be done in stage's saddle on.. walk a few steps.. girth down.. few more step.. etc..... you could do a circuit of the show ground just to get the bl00dy saddle on best of luck.. your boy is lovely

Well he's getting there, we can now put the saddle straight on (and a bigger one at that!!) and do the girth straight up, he's been lunging with stirrups banging around, and long reining in walk and trot, and last week my brother lent over him and we walked the whole length of the yard!! so we'vew made major progress i think!!! Thankls for the kind comments. His sire is Syon Star (keston Tribune) His dam is Highmead Spring Free (Camargue Tribute x Oakley be free!)
